Laura is now 17 months old and is LOVING her new sister Emma. She amazes us every day with new words and abilities and we couldn't be more proud of her.
Laura is using her baby sign language quite effectively and learns new signs nearly every day. She is also beginning to say many words such as "yes," "baby," and "hot." But what really astounds us is how much she understands of what we say. It is clear, keeping this intelligent little girl challenged as she grows up will not be easy!
We look forward to celebrating Chinese New Year with the CCAI family in February. This will be Laura's first chance to visit the adoption agency and Chinese school there. Over 400 Chinese children will be performing song and dance. We can't wait to see how she reacts to being surrounded again by little girls from China.
